Reiki is a journey.
Reiki is a journey.
Learning and administering Reiki has many benefits. Initially we may learn Reiki as a way to help the world heal.
Shoden teaches us to start to administer Reiki to ourselves as part of a daily routine. To remove blocks in our own energy before we can move onto helping others.
Okuden teaches us how (once we have spent time working with our own energy) to encorporate Reiki to friends, family and clients.Opening up the healing process around us.
The more we work on our own energy on a daily basis - the deeper we go into understanding the system of Reiki and our own personal development/the energies which surround us.As part of our Spiritual development we learn what works for us and what does not work for us.
If you are an Empath you may pick up energies of clients before they book an appointment....pick up energies of friends and family...or generally pick up energy of people who you come into contact with on a daily basis.
When this happens,it can take a while to understand who's energy it is...This is when Self Reiki is a must! .As you work with your own energy you will start to notice the aches and pains disappearing. How long you administer Self Reiki is entirely up to how you feel. There is no limit. You can never give yourself or anyone else too much Reiki...You can however give yourself too little Reiki.
Sometimes this may come back again as you come into contact with whoever the energy came from.....As soon as you can.....repeat the Self Reiki process. It is not always possible to give everyone in need of Reiki a session for themselves. Sometimes Self Reiki is the only way to relieve the blocks of energy in others.
Yes that's right...I just said Self Reiki helps others!
Certainly for Empaths this is a great way of sending Distance Reiki.
As we are all connected by the Universal energy our own healing sends light to the world around us.
It is not for us to deliberate should I send this Reiki? will the individual accept this healing energy which is being sent?
You feel the aches and pains for a reason.....to send Reiki!
I have heard of many practitioners who say "I no longer do Reiki,as I had this wrong with me...and that wrong with me" This is what happens when we do not administer self Reiki. All too often other peoples energies are mistaken for our own. Instead of Self Reiki and working harder at cleansing the energy - they simply gave up/did not understand the energies at play.
So if this is happening to you - please try going deeper into your Reiki healing before dismissing. You learnt Reiki for a reason.....By giving up - are you not creating the very thing which you set about to remove in the first place - a Block?
Yes sometimes the Reiki journey can be tough!
Practice patience...experiment with Reiki and the energies...get to know yourself.
Reiki is a journey!
